The Hagen History Center in Erie, PA has many exciting pieces of history, one of which is Frank Lloyd Wright’s office. This was Wright’s actual office that was located in San Francisco, California.
Walk Through Frank Lloyd Wright’s Office
You are able to walk through the world-renowned architect’s office which is complete with reproductions of Wright’s original drawings. It is amazing to see it in person and imagine Wright designing incredibly famous buildings such as the Guggenheim Museum.
There are so many artifacts to look at that belonged to the legendary architect! For example, Wright’s personal office includes Japanese art he had collected. Additionally, the drafting room includes a film on the windows which is of San Francisco. Frank Lloyd Wright’s office is an incredibly rare piece of history and even better, you are able to experience it firsthand.
Get to Wright’s office via the Carriage House Visitor Center & Gift Shop. While at the Hagen History Center, be sure to check out the following buildings that are jam packed with Erie history:
